The Honor Roll procedure began formally in
1994. Players receive points for performance in WPGA, USGA,
Pennsylvania Golf Association, Tri-State Section PGA
Championships, and "other championships" as the discretion of
the Championship Committee. The formula is distributed to
tournament players at the beginning of each season. The
Championship Committee tabulates the points and recognizes the
Honor Roll top ten players and ties plus an Honorable Mention
list of five players. For the Juniors and Seniors, the top
five players are on the Honor Roll.
The players receive mementos,
exemptions from qualifying in various WPGA tournaments, plus
consideration for WPGA teams competing against other
organizations, both professional and amateur. A dinner for the
Honor Roll is held each fall.
The Honor Roll lists include Men, Junior,
and Senior.
