U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Sectional Qualifying Round - September 30, 2014

This notice serves as confirmation for U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Sectional Qualifying on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Westmoreland Country Club in Export.

Spots & Playoff
The field is playing for two (2) spots in the Championship and two (2) alternates. In the event of a tie, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee for qualifying spots as well as alternates.

Format - 18 Holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play
The ball scored must be individually identifiable by the player who scored his ball for each hole when signing and returning your scorecard. Any further instructions will be issued on the starting tee.

Rules reminders for USGA Qualifying Rounds
1. The 'One-Ball Rule' is in effect.
2. Grooves conforming to USGA competition standards are required.

Tee Markers - All play is from the BLACK tee markers. Pace of Play - Maximum Allowable Time is four hours and thirty-five minutes (4:35). All play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.

Practice - Practice rounds are available by contacting the Golf Shop at 724-327-2345 for information regarding a practice round. The PGA Professional is Bob Gordon. Any practice round fees are at the expense of the player and rounds should be scheduled in advance. Practice range balls are complimentary the day of the competition.

Transportation/Caddies - Players are required to walk for the championship. Westmoreland does offer caddies but they must be pre-arranged by contacting the Golf Shop. Players may bring their own caddies if they choose. Caddies must walk in performance of their duties.

Withdrawals - If a team needs to withdrawal please email or contact the Association as soon as possible in order for us to make proper pairings adjustments or provide a playing marker.

Evacuation Plan
Air Horn: One long sounds ñ Suspend play immediately, dangerous situation
Two short sounds - You may continue play through the hole being played
Holes 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 & 18 ñ Proceed to clubhouse upon suspension
Holes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15 ñ Proceed to Maintenance Facility
Holes 12 & 13 ñ Proceed to the tunnel between hole 15 & 16

All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player. LodgingóTeams that need lodging will find several hotels in the Greensburg or Monroeville areas in various price ranges.
