This notice serves as confirmation for West Penn Four-Ball & Senior Four-Ball Championships on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Nemacolin Woodlands Mystic Rock Course in Farmington, PA.
Format - 36 Holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play
The ball scored must be individually identifiable by the player who scored his ball for each hole when signing and returning your scorecard. Any further instructions will be issued on the starting tee. In the event of a tie, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee for qualifying spots as well as alternates.
Play for the Championship division is from the WPGA Blue tee markers. For practice round purposes the course will play approximately 6,900 yards.
Play for the Senior Championship division is from the WPGA White tee markers. For practice round purposes the course will play approximately 6,500 yards.
Pace of Play - Maximum Allowable Time is four hours and twenty-five minutes (4:25). Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.
Practice - Practice rounds are available by contacting the resort at 724-329-8555. Practice rounds will be at a cost of $84, are at the expense of the player and should be scheduled in advance. The Director of Golf Operations is Zach Clabaugh. Practice range balls are complimentary the day of the competition.
Lodging - The resort has offered an on-site lodging rate for competitors for the nights of September 27 & 28. Rooms are limited and arrangements must be made in advance. Please reference: Western Pennsylvania Golf Association when making arrangements by calling the resort at 724-329-8555. Rates are as follows per night: Two Bedroom Townhouse - $159; The Lodge - $159; The Chateau - $199
Transportation/Caddies - Players are permitted to use a cart for competition and the cart fee is included in the entry fee. Nemacolin does offer caddies and they are at the expense of the player. The number of caddies is limited and they must be pre-arranged a minimum of 48 hours in advance, by contacting Zach Clabaugh at 724-329-6472. Players may bring their own caddies if they choose to walk. Caddies must walk in performance of their duties.
Withdrawals - If a team needs to withdrawal please email Matt Rusinko or contact the Association as soon as possible in order to make proper grouping adjustments.
Evacuation Plan - Air Horn: One long sound ñ Suspend play immediately, dangerous situation
Two short sounds ñ You may continue play through the hole being played
In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, players on holes #1,2,3,4, 5 & 18 should return immediately to the Clubhouse. Players on holes #6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 & 14 should go to the Half Way House. Players on holes #15,16 & 17 should proceed to the Bathroom to the right of Hole #17.
Footwear - METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.
Food - The WPGA provides coffee and juices for the players prior to the 1st round. Lunch will be provided for the players between rounds. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

The entry fee includes green fee, cart, coffee and juices, lunch, trophies to the winners and merchandise prizes to the top five (5) teams and ties for the Championship and merchandise prizes to the top three (3) teams in the Senior Championship.
