2015 Jamison Cup Finals


August 17, 2015 - Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford



This note verifies your entry in the 2015 Jamison Cup Inter-Club Finals at Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA on Monday, August 17.

The field is 12 Teams. The starting tees will be holes #1 & #9. The competition is 36 holes of stroke play, top four scores of five count per team. In the case of a tie, the lower fifth score will break the tie. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.

The winning team receives a plaque for their club and individual awards. The medalist receives a trophy and an exemption to the 2016 West Penn Amateur at the Old Course at Bedford Springs.

Tee Markers - All play is from the WPGA BLUE tee markers, which will play approximately 6,700 yards.

Pace of Play - The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20) and a two-point checkpoint system will be in place.

 • Before 12:00 PM - $119
 • After 12:00 PM - $69

Tee times must be made in advance by calling 814-624-5637 and you should mention you will be competing in the Jamison Cup to obtain this rate. All practice round fees are the responsibility of the player.

Transportation - Players are permitted to use carts for the competition for one or both rounds. Groups of 3 may take only 2 carts per group. The cart fee is included. Players may bring their own caddies.

Footwear - METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

Food & Beverage - Coffee, juices and pastries will be available prior to round one. A boxed lunch will be provided between rounds and hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be available at the end of the competition near the scoring area in the main the clubhouse. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

Billing/Payment - Upon receipt of the bill from Bedford Springs, all clubs will be billed by the WPGA equally to pay for the day. It is the club's responsibility to bill members of their team accordingly.
