This notice serves as confirmation for WPGA Spring Stroke Play Championship on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Mystic Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands in Farmington, PA.
The competition is 36 holes and the field is 78 players representing 45 different clubs. Starting tees will be holes #1 & #10. Additional information will be distributed on the starting tees.
Format - 36 Holes of Stroke Play
Tee Markers - All play is from the BLACK tee markers; approximate yardage for the competition will be 7,000 depending on course conditions. Teeing grounds will vary for each round.
Pace of Play - The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20)
Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. In the event of a tie, a hole by hole sudden death playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.
Practice - Practice rounds are available by contacting the golf shop at Mystic Rock at 1.866.537.3270 Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player, must be pre-arranged and are at a cost of $90 inclusive. The Director of Golf Operations is Brian Anderson.
Transportation/Caddies - Golf carts are permitted and are included in the entry fee. Players may bring their own caddies if they choose to walk. Nemacolin Woodlands has no caddies. Please do not contact the Golf Shop regarding the employment of a caddie as the program has been discontinued.
Lodging - Lodging at the resort is sold out except for rooms at Falling Rock. The rate at Falling Rock is $459 per night. There are hotels in various price ranges in the Uniontown area.

Evacuation Plan - In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, players on holes #1,2,3,4, 5 & 18 should return immediately to the Clubhouse. Players on holes #6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 & 14 should go to the Half Way House. Players on holes #15,16 & 17 should proceed to the Bathroom Area to the right of Hole #17.
Footwear— - METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.
Food - The WPGA provides lunch for the players. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

The entry fee includes green fee, cart, practice fee, locker fee, lunch, trophies to the winner and merchandise prizes to the top ten (10) scores and ties for the Championship. The winner of the Championship receives an exemption to the 2014 West Penn Amateur & Open Championships.
