After four years of being a competition for club champions, the Association has changed the format to being an open competition for area women's amateurs. The WPGA Women's Amateur Championship will be played at Willowbrook Country Club in Apollo on Tuesday, August 24. The eighteen-hole championship is open to all women amateurs who reside in Western Pennsylvania with USGA Handicap Indexes of 18.4 or lower. The trophy has been named in honor of the late Judy Oliver (1947-2002), one of the finest players ever to compete in this area.
