Twelve Teams Vie for Jamison Cup
October 17, 2004
Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact)

Led by defending champion St. Jude, whose top player is Sean Knapp, twelve teams compete on Friday, September 24th at Butler, for the Jamison Cup, the Association's Inter-Club tournament that began more than 90 years ago. This is the last WPGA competition for the 2004 season.

In addition to St. Jude the other teams, league winners, include Butler, DuBois, Lake View (Erie), Montour Heights, Nemacolin, Oakmont, St. Clair, Scotch Valley, Sewickley Heights, Totteridge, and Valley Brook. Oakmont, St. Clair, and Scotch Valley have won the Jamison in the past decade. The format is five players per team with the low four scores counting in each of the two rounds. The tie breaker, used in 2002, is the fifth score.
