Former WPGA President passes away

C. Robert Miller, WPGA President, 1974-75, died on September 21, in Boynton Beach, Florida, at age 81. He was a member of Green Oaks furing his term on the WPGA Executive Committee.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he attended Dickinson College and the University of Pittsburgh Law School. During his career, Miller served as Assistant to the President at Robert Morris University. A University of Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, he received their Golf Panther of the Year Award in 1977. In addition to his WPGA service, he was also an accomplished golfer.
