Jon Mills, Indiana, PA., who led the
2003 money list on the Canadian Tour, finished tied for second at Panama
Golf Club in the Republic of Panama in the Nationwide Tour's first event
of the season, January 27-30. Mills recorded scores of 68-67-68-70
- 273, finishing one stroke behind Vance Veazey.

Mill's wife Megan is from Indiana,
where they were married in 2003. He was a standout at Kent State
University, a power of recent NCAA competitions, and a teammate of Ben
Curtis, the 2003 British Open Champion. Mills is from a golf
family, as his father Dave is Executive Director of the Golf Association
of Ontario, and his brother, Jeff, is a club professional in
London, Ontario. After nearly qualifying for his PGA Tour card in
2003, Mills played on the Nationwide Tour in 2004, winning just over
$120,000, 48th on the money list. He won $34,000 for his finish in
Panama, his best performance and check on the Nationwide Tour.
Mills represents Totteridge Golf Club on the Nationwide Tour.
