Carol Semple-Thompson named First Lady of Golf

The PGA of America announced, Tuesday, February 15, that Carol Semple-Thompson, of Sewickley, has been named the recipient of the First Lady of Golf Award.  The award is given annually to a woman has made significant contributions to the promotion of the game.  Ms. Semple-Thompson,  a member of Allegheny Country Club, has won seven USGA titles and was the winner of the first Western Pennsylvania Golf Association Women’s Amateur in 2004.  For more information see the PGA announcement
