Carol Semple-Thompson
named First Lady of Golf February 16, 2005 Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact) The PGA of America announced, Tuesday, February 15, that Carol Semple-Thompson, of Sewickley, has been named the recipient of the First Lady of Golf Award. The award is given annually to a woman has made significant contributions to the promotion of the game. Ms. Semple-Thompson, a member of Allegheny Country Club, has won seven USGA titles and was the winner of the first Western Pennsylvania Golf Association Women’s Amateur in 2004.
