WPGA donates to Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council

Donate to the PA Turfgrass Council
 The USGA's Regional Conference took place February 28th at the Pittsburgh Expo Mart in the Radisson Hotel, Monroeville.  During the meeting WPGA Green Committee Chairman
and  Executive Committee member, George Anderson, Beaver Lakes, presented a $1000 check to the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council (PTC).

The Council, established in 1955, supports research and education at Penn State University.  Research develops new techniques and products to improve golf turf.  Education trains the next generation of turfgrass managers who work at golf courses throughout the area and the country.

This is the first PTC donation made by the Association, and it is the WPGA's hope that WPGA Member Clubs and others interested in the welfare of turfgrass will support the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council.
