2005-2006 WPGA Scholarship Recipients
Selected April 4, 2005 John Vander Borght, Director, Membership Development and Services The WPGA Scholarship Committee and the WPGA Executive Committee are pleased to announce the selection of three recipients of scholarships for the 2005-2006 school year. Along with 7 students who are already receiving scholarships, the WPGA will be awarding 10 $3000 scholarships to students who have worked for at least two years at WPGA member clubs. The students receiving scholarships are Lance Catterall - Sewickley Heights / Shannopin, Nicolette Chilton - Longue Vue, and Brian Heyl - Alcoma. Catterall and Heyl will be freshman at Penn State University, while Chilton will be a junior at the University of Pittsburgh. Applications for the 2006-2007 year will be available approximately September 1st and be due back by December 15th.
