The Association's Mid-Amateur Championships has overbooked more often than not in the past decade.  In response to this and the site, The Club at Nevillewood, on May 30, a qualifying round has been established on May 24 at Chestnut Ridge Resort's Tom's Run Course.

Exemptions have been developed, and the deadline date has been moved to May 10.  Based on entries the qualifying round may or may not be played, but the Championship Committee determined it was a better plan to have the qualifying procedure in place if entries significantly exceed the starting field of 78.

Players who compete in the Qualifying Round and do not qualify for the Championship will receive a $75 refund within two weeks of the completion of the championship.
