Huntingdon and Thorn Run join WPGA

The WPGA Executive Committee have voted to accept the
applications of Huntingdon Country Club and Thorn Run Golf Club as
members for the 2006 year. Huntingdon Country Club is located just
outside Huntingdon, PA. It is an 18-hole facility. Nine
holes were built in 1920 and the other 9 opened last year. Thorn
Run Golf Club is a type-2 club without real estate located in
Coraopolis.
The Association is also happy to
announce that Beaver Valley has rejoined the WPGA after one years
absence. Beaver Valley has been a member
of the WPGA for over 100 years.
There are now 119 WPGA member clubs which can be
located by clicking on the Member Course Map to the right.
