Sean Knapp and Nathan Smith, St. Jude, shot a one-over par 141 total to win the 52nd Fred Brand Championships at Longue Vue Country Club. It was Knapp's 12th victory in this even with 3 different partners. Knapp and Smith combined to win last year also. Frank Fairman and John Benson, Punxsutawney finished second 6 shots behind at 147.
