WPGA - Report of the 2006 Nominating Committee

Joseph J. Nypaver, right, an Altoona attorney with the firm of Serbin, Kovacs and Nypaver, has been nominated as the Association’s next president. He will commence his duties at the WPGA Annual Meeting at Edgewood on September 25. Nypaver first joined the Executive Committee in 1998, and his duties include Chairing the Championship Committee, 2000-2002. He succeeds Clifford K. Lyon, Edgewood.

The remaining officers are Terry Bailey, New Castle, Vice-President; George Anderson, Beaver Lakes, Secretary, and newly elected officer, Don Erickson, III, DuBois & Indiana, Treasurer.

First time nominees to the Executive Committee are Bob Barrett, Madison Club; Gary Evans, South Hills; Don Lamb, St. Clair; and Ronald Moehler, Chartiers. In addition to Lyon, retiring from the Executive Committee are Ronald Harris, Willowbrook, and Joe Pesavento, Longue Vue. Dario Cipriani, Lake View and Rick Masten, Champion Lakes were re-nominated for three year terms.
