William Miller Named Junior Player of the Year

Completing a season that included wins in the WPGA Amateur Championship and the AJGA Ringgold Telephone Company Junior Classic, and numerous top finishes in both local and national events, William Miller of Venetia has been named the Association's Junior Player of the Year for 2006. Miller also advanced to the second round of the USGA Junior Amateur Championship. He was named Junior Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005.

Brendan Borst of Pittsburgh finished second followed by Adam Hofmann, also of Pittsburgh. Borst's season was highlighted by a victory in the WPGA Junior Championship, while Hofmann's top finish was a fifth in the Western Junior Amateur Championship.

Finishing fourth is Robert Shogry, Pittsburgh, followed by Sean Brannan of Hollidaysburg in fifth, John Popeck of Washington in sixth, and Chuck Nettles of McMurray in seventh.
