Mazza secures qualifying rights on Champions Tour November 27, 2006 Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact) At TPC at Eagle Trace GC, Coral Springs, Florida, John Mazza, Beaver Falls, shot 75-72-71-74-292, in the Qualifying School Final for the Nationwide Tour. His 27th qualifies the longtime Tri-State PGA Section standout in a group of players who will compete for nine spots each week the Champions Tour has an open competition. Falling short, tying for 37th, was Roy Vucinich, Moon Township, 74-74-72-74--294. Both players advanced through the first stage to reach the finals.
