Wheatcroft advances to PGA Tour December 05, 2006 Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact) Steve Wheatcroft, Washington, PA, finished 7th at the PGA Tour Qualifying School at PGA West in La Quinta, CA yesterday, December 4, 2006. Wheatcroft, who won the 2004 West Penn Open at Westmoreland Country Club, had conditional status on the Nationwide Tour in 2006. His six round scores were 73-75-71-65-67-67 - 418 (-14).
