Oakview Golf Club and Williams Country Club join WPGA December 19, 2006 Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact) The WPGA Executive Committee has approved the membership applications for Oakview Golf Club (Slippery Rock) and Williams Country Club (Weirton, WV). Oakview Golf Club, formerly known as Armco, is a semi-private club located just southeast of Slippery Rock. The 18-hole course measures 6141 yards from the back tee. Williams Country Club is the first WPGA member club located outside of Pennsylvania. The course was built in 1932 and was the site of the US Senior Open Qualifier in 2005 among other events. The WPGA is very happy to welcome both of these clubs as members, bringing the current total to 118 member clubs. For more information regarding membership, please contact Jeff Rivard.
