Swinston, April 18, 1924 - February, 23, 2007 February 28, 2007 Jeff Rivard, Executive Directory (contact) Bob Swinston, Longue Vue, WPGA President in 1987, died on Friday, February 23. He was 82. Swinston served on the Association's Executive Committee, 1976-1993, with distinction. He was active in many areas, most notably championships and membership. In 1991, Swinston led the Association to reorganize its dues structure to a common per member fee contrasted to billings done on a "small" vs. "large" or "metro" vs. "outlying" clubs. This simplification was well received and is used to this day.
