Three collegians advance in USGA
Women's Open May 22, 2007 Jeff Rivard, Executive Director (contact) At the USGA Women's Open Local Qualifying Round, three area collegians advanced to the Sectional. Nine spots were available for 32 players. Katie Miller, Jeanette, shot 75, Jordan Craig, Connellsville, recorded 76, and Katie Trotter, Upper St. Clair, carded 78 to gain the final spot. All three play college golf in the ACC, Miller, University of North Carolina; Craig, Wake Forest; and Trotter, Maryland. All three players will be competing at Woodmont in Rockville, MD on June 11th.
