In addition to Rocco Mediate’s incredible run in the US Open, losing to Tiger Woods in the playoff at Torrey Pines, Jon Mills, Indiana, recorded a t-36 finish, one of his best this year.

Mediate moved from 126 to 43 on the PGA Tour money list with total earnings just over $1,125,000, while Mills, on the Tour for the second try, the first in 2006,  moves within striking distance of retaining his card for 2009.  He is now 129 with just under $320,000.
