Rachel Rohanna, Waynesburg, fired 69 on July 2 at Ohio Prestwick CC, Uniontown, OH, to gain medalist honors in the USGA Girls Junior Sectional Qualifying Round.  Only two players throughout the country, with a 66 & 68, recorded lower scores than she. 

 

Tied for the third best score among sectional qualifiers, Rohanna established herself as a top contender in the Championship, to be played at Hartford Golf Club, West Hartford, Connecticut, July 21-26.
