In Golfweek’s September 6 edition with its college golf feature, Mike VanSickle, Wexford, a senior at Marquette University in Milwaukee, was named to the magazine’s preseason All-American First Team, with a #9 ranking.  Ten players were honored.

The 2007-08 Frank Fuhrer, III, Collegiate Player of the Year, recipient, won both the Pennsylvania Open and Amateur this summer, plus runner-up in the Southern Amateur, 3^rd in the Porter Cup, and a Sectional Qualifier for the US Amateur, not to mention his strong junior year at Marquette.  He plays at Treesdale G&CC in Gibsonia.
