October 13-14--Marquette University’s Mike VanSickle, Gibsonia, won his second collegiate tournament of this season, the Xavier Invitational, at Oasis GC, Loveland, Ohio, near Cincinnati.  

He fired 64-68-67-199, an eight stroke victory over Toledo’s Nathan Wine.  Ohio University’s Chad Warmbein, McMurray, tied for tenth with 73-66-72—211. 

In the team competition Eastern Kentucky won, beating Marquette, 846-851. 

In the Windon Memorial at North Shore CC, Glenview, IL, near Chicago, VanSickle tied for seventh, with 69-72-72—213, eight strokes behind Indiana’s Jorge Campillo.
