Donald D. Wolff, Jr., Fox
Chapel, passed away due to complications from prostate cancer
on November 20. He was 63. Wolff, a leading investment adviser
and philanthropist, was an avid golfer, whose interest in the
game led him to the 2003 presidency of the Pennsylvania Golf
Association.
His community involvement included such organizations as UPMC,
Women's Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh, and the Ellis School.
His golf background included trips to Ireland and Scotland,
interest in the game's history, and as Pennsylvania GA
President, taking "snobbery out of golf and making competition
open to anyone," commented his Guyasuta Financial partner,
Richard Meyer.
