WPGA Executive Committee member, James Boughner,
Youghiogheny, has been recently appointed to the USGA Junior
Championship Committee. He succeeds former WPGA President,
Craig Wynn, Allegheny. Boughner, elected to the
Association's official family in 2004, currently chairs the
WPGA Championship Committee.
Boughner is a five time
club champion at Youghiogheny, where his family has belonged
for seven decades. His father, Richard, 1916-2007, served
as WPGA President, 1993-94. Jim and Richard were twice
runners-up in the WPGA Father & Son. A summa cum laude
graduate of Ohio State University, B.S.,and the University
of Pittsburgh, Juris Doctor, School of Law, he is President
of The Beechwood Company.
