The WPGA Scholarship Committee has selected three high
school seniors for tuition scholarships this Fall. The
students are:
Jenna Gordon, Meadville, lifeguard and server, Meadville
Senior High. She will attend Edinboro University, PA. Kelsey
Moss, New Castle, lifeguard and server, Neshannock
Junior-Senior High
in New Castle. She will attend University of Pittsburgh.
Lauren Turosik, Nemacolin, lifeguard, California Area High
School. She will attend California University, PA.
Gordon will study mathematics with the goal of teaching high
school math. Her activities include National Honor Society,
soccer and softball.
Moss will study
pharmacy. She played golf, softball and basketball at
Neshannock, plus participation in the National Honor
Society, French Club, and church youth groups.
Turosik will study
communications. Her activities include cheerleading, musical
productions, television news, student organizations, and
community service.
A total of ten students will be in the program for the
2010-2011 school
year. The others are:

Courtney Jones, golf shop, Ligonier, Penn State
Katelyn Kendle, maintenance, Longue Vue, Penn State
Ryan Kerila, golf shop, Totteridge, Robert Morris
David McCleary, golf shop, Treasure Lake, Pittsburgh
Michael Muir, golf shop, Sunnehanna, Penn State
Ashley Philyaw, golf shop, Bob O'Connor, Towson
