Wheatcroft, Mills, record top finishes on Nationwide Tour

At the Nationwide Tour's Chitimacha Louisiana Open, area golfers recorded strong finishes. Steve Wheatcroft, a Washington native, shot 73-68-67-67-275, tied for 7th, while Jon Mills, Indiana, recorded 69-70-72-66--277, t-13. The event was played March 24-27 at Le Triomphe Country Club, Broussard, Louisiana.

Wheatcroft is 15th on the money list with $28008, and Mills is 46th with $9214 in winnings.
