The Association has selected two employees who will soon begin their duties.

Matthew Rusinko has accepted the Championship Manager position, in which he will be the principal staff assistant to Executive Director Jeff Rivard for the organization's championship program. Rusinko has been a golf shop staff member at several facilities over the past decade, most recently at Sewickley Heights. He was also employed at Golf Shop USA, Irwin, PA. He was a member of the golf team at University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg. He resides in McMurray.

George Smiltins, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, will serve a six-month term as the organization's USGA intern, a program named for the late P.J. Boatwright, (1928-1991), a former USGA Executive Director who was one of the game's most respected Rules and Competitions officials. Smiltins will soon complete a Master of Law at the University of Akron. He holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and a BA from Boston College. He played golf at Canisius High School in Buffalo, and competed in numerous junior competitions.
