Mercatoris medalist at NEC Championship

C.G. Mercatoris, Brookville, a senior at Robert Morris University, won his fourth title of the 2010-11 season, the Northeast Conference Championship, April 29-May 1.  He fired 71-70-74--215 at Champions Gate GC, Champions Gate, FL, for a two stroke victory.  The Colonials finished second to Sacred Heart.  Mercatoris has more medalist titles than any collegiate golfer from the area this season.  He is scheduled to play as an individual in an NCAA Division I Regional, six to be played May 19-21.
