Near miss for Rachel Rohanna

Waynesburg's Rachel Rohanna shot 75-75--150 in on-site qualifying rounds for the USGA Women's Amateur, August 8-9, at Rhode Island Country Club. She was one stroke shy of the match play playoff score of 149.  Matches begin on August 10.  Rohanna was co-recipient of the Association's Frank Fuhrer, III, Award, given for outstanding collegiate play. Rohanna will be a junior at Ohio State University.
