Hofmann, Schlachter, win Pennsylvania Golf Association honors

Adam Hofmann, Fox Chapel, and Paul Schlachter, Nevillewood, were recognized with the Pennsylvania Golf Association's William C. Fownes Awards as the organization's Player of the Year, amateur and senior respectively. Hofmann, a senior at Vanderbilt University, tied for first place on the Player of the Year points list, while Schlacter was recognized as Senior Player of the Year for the fourth time in five years. He has been the WPGA's Senior Player of the Year for eight consecutive years.
