Four seminars on separate topics offer educational opportunities to the typical golfer and facility leader alike. Registration can be done by contacting the WPGA.

Leading off is the USGA Regional Conference on February 27 at the Radisson-Monroeville. There is no fee but registration is required. Registration is possible through the Association or by contacting USGA Regional Director, Ann Guiberson. Golf course maintenance, major championship preparation, and equipment issues are among the topics for the meeting that begins at noon.

A GHIN Operating Seminar will take place at Green Oaks on March 21. Contact the WPGA for more information. Those who administer GHIN at their clubs are encouraged to attend. Both USGA and WPGA staff members will conduct this meeting.

A Handicap Chair Certification session will be held at Chartiers on March 30. This is an important meeting for clubs needing certification or officials interested in this issue.

A Rules of Golf Workshop will occur on April 1 at Edgewood. This morning meeting will conclude with lunch, well in advance of the first game of the NCAA Final Four semi-finals.

Providing information to the golf community that assists officials in conducting their activities is a key element of the Association's mission.
