MacWhinnie advances in PGA Tour qualifying

Nationwide Tour player, Bobby MacWhinnie, originally from Pittsburgh, advanced through the first stage of PGA Tour School at Callaway Gardens, GA, with 73-69-69-70 - 282, making the cut by one stroke. He was the only player with area roots to progress to the second stage in mid-November.

Rohanna played in the pre-qualifying at Yankee Hill GC, Lincoln, NE. He shot 71-70-66-72 - 279, t-13 to advance to the first stage. Foley also advanced through pre-qualifying with 76-72-67-67 - 282, finishing second at Kinderlou GC, Valdosta, GA.
