Hall of Fame Dinner available to WPGA members

The Western Pennsylvania Golf Hall of Fame will induct its inaugural class at Oakmont Country Club on Thursday, September 26. This event will be conducted by the WPGA Hall of Fame Committee. Inductees are William C. Fownes, Jr., Jock Hutchison, Arnold Palmer, Carol Semple Thompson and Lew Worsham. Palmer and Semple Thompson will attend.

The Master of Ceremonies is highly renowned golf writer and New Castle native, Ron Sirak.

The evening begins with registration at 6:00 p.m. and includes hors d'oeuvres, refreshments and dinner followed by the program. The program will include recognition for Fownes, Hutchison and Worsham, and a conversation with Palmer and Semple Thompson moderated by Sirak. The per person fee is $200 and each WPGA member may bring an additional person. Requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis with payment required prior to acceptance.
