Rohanna records top-30 in Symetra Tour stop

Waynesburg's Rachel Rohanna turned professional last year following a standout collegiate career at Ohio State University. She was twice the recipient of the Association's Frank Fuhrer, III, Award for outstanding collegiate play in 2009-10 and 2011-12.

Rohanna recorded 71-71-73 - 215, tied for 27th, in the Symetra Tour's opening event at Longbow GC in Mesa, AZ, February 21-23. This tour is administered by the LPGA Tour, and the top ten on their money list at the end of the season gain LPGA Tour cards the following year. She earned $849. Rohanna played on the Symetra Tour last season as well and also qualified for the 2013 US Women's Open at the Butler Country Club Sectional.
