The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association would like to announce that Mac Wolfe has started his employment at the Association's Director of Outreach. His duties include managing Outreach and Handicap Programs, the WPGA Hardware Program, handicap licensing administration, social media platforms, and will assist in financial management of the Association.

"Joining the WPGA as the Director of Outreach is the fulfillment of my goals while pursuing my education, competitive golf experiences, and prior job training," Wolfe said.

A native of Johnstown, Mac attended Westmont Hilltop High School where he was a four-year letterman on the golf team and was very active in junior golf. He continued his studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania majoring in Sports Administration. An avid golfer, Mac combined his love of the sport with his academic training as a P.J. Boatwright Intern last year with the Pennsylvania Golf Association.

"I look forward to working for such a great organization that provides countless opportunities for golfers in the Western Pennsylvania region," Wolfe said. "Iím excited to serve the all golfers and Member Clubs of the WPGA."

Wolfe learned the game at Sunnehanna Country Club where he also caddied and volunteered for the Sunnehanna Amateur.

"We are glad Mac is now a part of our team, and we very much look forward to his contributions to the WPGA," Terry Teasdale, WPGA Executive Director, said. "We look forward to his starting and working with him going forward."
