Summit Country Club joins WPGA

The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association welcomes Summit Country Club as its newest Member Club. The club is located in Cresson, PA.
The original nine-hole club was founded in 1923 and built on Cresson Mountain in the Laurel Highlands. An additional nine-holes were designed by Ed Ault, and the championship course was opened in 1968.
The course has tees varying from nearly 5,300 yards to 6,750 yards. The WPGA now has 134 Member Clubs and nearly 28,000 members.
