Women's Triple Play Tournament

Introduced in 2024, the WPGA Women’s Triple Play was developed in accordance with the boom of female golf participation in the region and nationally.

The format of the event is 18 holes of variable net team stroke play. Teams will consist of four players each. Scoring is Best 1 ball of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 1 thru 6, Better 2 balls of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 7 thru 12, and Better 3 balls of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 13 thru 18. The competition is a Net event but also includes a Gross division.

The competition is open to all female amateur golfers residing in the Western Pennsylvania region, with a Handicap Index® and with membership at a WPGA Member Club.

 The first competition, held at Grove City Country Club in 2024, was won by the team of Pam Lamagna, Rebecca Winek, Jackie McKinney & Bridget Minnock.
